Infrastructure Engineer

Bridge Financial Technology is seeking a professional, talented infrastructure engineer to join our growing organization. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the organization's technology systems. This includes servers, networks, storage systems, and other hardware and software components. The engineer will work closely with other teams, such as development and operations, to ensure that infrastructure is designed and implemented to meet the organization's needs.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest in financial technology, a passion for data, the ability to learn the specific challenges of Bridge and have a knack for translating knowledge to technology solutions including algorithms, analytics, new features, integrations and more. We're looking for people who want to be part of a small but dedicated and growing team, unconstrained by the bureaucracy and politics of large organizations with the desire for high impact work. 

Work From Home

Bridge operates in a 100% remote environment. You can expect to work from home and/or at a local WeWork as you see fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions to support the organization's technology systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing infrastructure
• Work closely with other teams to ensure infrastructure is designed and implemented to meet the organization's needs
• Research new technologies and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical discipline within a STEM field (science, technology, engineering and maths)
• Experience with server and network infrastructure, including virtualization and cloud computing
• Experience with automation and configuration management
• Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools and technologies
• Experience with Linux
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
